General Driftless Area Conditions

Wisconsin Season is closed.

Iowa is slowing down as temperatures have dropped. There will be far fewer bugs hatching and fewer fish feeding on the surface until it warms up again. Scuds and nymphs slowly bounced along the bottom and leeches crawled through pools will be the ticket. There will still be sparse hatches, but the majority of your fishing will be done sub surface.
