March 26th Fishing Report

A chance of rain before 3pm, then snow likely. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 30 by 5pm. Breezy, with a west wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
The snow that fell the past couple of days is almost completely gone, absorbed by the ground.
Creeks are clear to very slightly stained with temperatures in the low to mid 40s.  We're still in winter/spring fishing mode where the trout are not super active until mid day when temperatures warm up just a touch.
Some midges and olives are hatching mid day getting pods of fish to look up here and there, but the best fishing is subsurface on scuds, caddis, and leeches.
