April 18th Fishing Report

Showers, mainly before 3pm. Steady temperature around 48. West wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Drizzle and some locally heavier rains have the creeks slightly up, but still clear to slightly stained.  We're not out of the drought yet, but things are MUCH better and we are breathing a sigh of relief.
Depending on the conditions, we are seeing olives, caddis, and spring stoneflies on the surface.  Subsurface fishing has been best with scuds and purple drank on cloudy days, and thread frenchies and spanish bullets on sunny days.
