Despite cold weather, fish still rising
Yes you read that correctly, driving around a bit yesterday to get out of the house we saw fish rising to midges in the riffles of a couple local streams. Even though the 'warm' weather of last week is gone for a couple of days bugs are still hatching and fish are still rising.
A bit warmer weather is coming this weekend, time to head to Iowa to get rid of the winter blahs and catch some fish! Remember we are still guiding over there and have openings this weekend.
We are still working on the British Columbia trip and will have information for you soon on that front.
The new rod company demo rods have arrived and man are the smooth, that and deadly accurate! We will have pictures and a full blog post on them in the next couple of days.
As much as we love the snow and the winter, we wish spring were here already!
