Our fishery is unique.  Small to tiny spring creeks that wind through valleys present challenges that anglers who fish outside of the Driftless will never experience.  It is then no wonder that for the most part major rod manufactureres have missed the boat in having a rod line for our type of fishing.  Sure we get the token short 3 or 4 weight, but the market is dominated by ultra high tech broomsticks that can cast far enough to reach from one side of the West Fork valley to another.
  Well what a gem we found in the Great Bay Rod Company!  Headquartered in New Hampshire, they buck the trend of churning out fast action rods.  Their focus is on creek rods (they even have 3 series of fiberglass rods!).  Comfortable casting medium action rods that are laser accurate and lay the line gently on the water.
  We will be featuring the Winding Brook Series that range from a 7' 2 weight rod to a 7'6 6 weight rod.  One specific rod we are very excited to have is a short (7' and 7'6) 5 weight.  Perfect for the windy days on our spring creeks, and an incredible streamer and leech rod.
