Trip Report 6-4-10
Very short trip driving between our house and a friend's house for dinner.  Fished a spring feeding a tiny brook trout stream.  The stream itself is something you would pass over, the spring something that you would not even notice, but it was on the way, my rod was in the car, and I had a black fat caddis tied on, so I could not resist.

Managed to land one pretty native fish out in the fifteen minutes I fished.  There were lots near a culvert where I parked, but they were ultra spooky.

Morale of the story.  Always have a fly rod with you.  That way when you slow down while driving over a creek you have a chance to fish that 'fishy' spot.  You never know what you might find.
