October 14th Fishing ReportPartly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 61. West wind 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Season wraps up after tomorrow (Friday October 15th). The creeks are in great shape and the fishing has been quite good for the last week of season! Hopper dropper is still the go to rig, but nymphing with heavy thin bodied bead heads and scuds has also been very effective.
In the later afternoon we are seeing some fish rising to olives as well. The hatch is still a bit spotty, but if you are on the right creek at the right time, it is a lot of surface feeding fun!
Shop is open all day today, and on Friday we will be open 8-noon.
