September 20th Fishing Report

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9am. Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph.
Hot and muggy today.  This is the last day for a short while that we will see hot weather, tomorrow and through the weekend is barely supposed to hit 70 degrees maximum.  Friday doesn't even reach 60!  This should bring the olives back.
In the meantime, during the heat today toss hoppers and beetles in the shin to thigh deep water near undercut banks.  Droppers, especially zebra midges are deadly right now too.
As the cooler weather hits, size down on the hoppers a bit, and look for olives hatching later afternoon and evening.
