February 17th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 27. Wind chill values as low as -1. Northwest wind 5 to 11 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Cold and windy today, but things get MUCH better on Saturday for a couple of days.  Tomorrow will be mostly sunny and a high of 40.  Remember to hit the creeks mid day as the water temperature is climbing for your best success.
We have been seeing midges and winter stoneflies hatching, and on the warmer days fish are happily eating nymphs and leeches twitched below the riffles.
