April 3rd Fishing Report

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
After the rains Friday night and some murky water on Saturday, Sunday saw most creeks clear to stained with only the largest ones still a bit muddy.
Today continues the clearing and with the cloud cover we should see our continued dry fly fishing!  Midges and olives are hatching daily, and the trout have been happily sipping them on the surface for most of the day!
Where fish are not rising, we are having success with smaller, flashy nymphs as well as leech patterns twitched or slowly stripped over the drop off below a riffle.
Creeks are clear to stained with temperatures in the low 40s.
