April 11th Fishing Report

Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Southwest wind 7 to 14 mph.
With this crazy heat wave (we can officially call wet wading weather in April a heat wave) caddis showed up in good numbers yesterday afternoon and we expect the trend to continue all week long.
Olives are declining in importance until it cools down and we get some clouds.  The bright and sunny days are caddis days.  Watch for splashy rises starting mid day.
Creeks are clear and low with temperatures reaching into the 50s now.
Make sure you are moving your flies.  Both subsurface patterns, and surface patterns.  Caddis are very active hatching bugs so a bit of movement on your flies can make the difference.
