April 15th Fishing Report

A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Increasing clouds, with a high near 70. Light and variable wind becoming west 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Although fishing was good the past few days (thank you caddis hatch!!!) We are excited to get back on track with spring weather.  The forecast for the weekend is for miserable, drizzly weather through Sunday (then a winter storm watch.  Totally normal to go from a burn ban/ fire warning to winter storm right?).  Fish today, fish tomorrow am, then get where you need to be before the potential wintry weather hits!!
Creeks are clear with happy fish eating caddis flies on sunny days and on days like today we should see some olive mayfly activity in the afternoon.
