May 4th Fishing Report

Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph.
One more day of sun and high pressure.  One more day of potential heavy caddis hatches.
Creeks are clear and a bit low with temperatures in the low to mid 50s.
Caddis are the main menu item.  The hatch yesterday started early in some spots and lasted right until the sun fell below the bluffs.  The best fishing was in the broken riffle water and just below.  Caddis are very active bugs, so do not forget to twitch, skitter, and move your flies both on the surface and subsurface!
