June 15th Fishing Report

Widespread haze. Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Creeks are still very low and clear, but with some cooler nights recently, temperatures are normal to good for this time of year!
Shade is still the limiting factor.  The low, clear water is making fish very spooky.  Make sure you fish early and late when the sun is off the water, and concentrate on undercut banks, any shade from vegetation and the broken riffle water during the day to find fish.
Its a bit of a mix of bugs right now with fish eating beetles, ants and small hoppers on the surface in the sunny conditions (tie on a bead head below!).  In the evening they are eating some sulphurs, caddis and cranes along with the terrestrials.  For fussy fish, try a film star, they have been great lately.
