Labor Day Weekend Fishing Report
We're still super low on water and the cool weather the past few days will be quickly forgotten as things heat up for the weekend. Fish super early in the morning, as water temperatures will climb quickly before mid day. Please remember to use your thermometer as some of the larger creeks are quite warm. If you do some exploring of smaller creeks and headwaters, you can find temperatures below 60 degrees, but it takes a bit of thinking outside the normal, well known creeks. A good use of the mid day heat (after a siesta) is to scout a location or two!
Terrestrials on the surface, especially pink hoppers! Small purdygons or squirreldigons subsurface.
