October 5th Fishing Report
Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. West wind 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.'Creeks are clear and low with temps in the low to mid 50s. Excellent temps!The low flows still have fish spooky, so concentrate on riffles and runs, as well as undercut banks and shaded areas. WIth the cooler weather, watch for the olive hatch to come back in the afternoons too.
As the temperatures dip over the weekend (and hopefully some clouds show up) the leech and streamer bite will start to pick up as well.
The season closes after October 15th. Get out there and fish!
