February 27th Fishing Report

Increasing clouds, with a high near 65. South wind 6 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.
Tomorrow's high dips to only 25.  Fish today, then give it a couple days to warm up again!
Creeks are low and clear with temperatures in the mid 40s area wide.  Hatches have been sparse lately, but we are seeing midges and winter stoneflies here and there still.
Leeches are still the key right now.  While scuds and midge larvae are good subsurface too, trout seem to be keying in on leech patterns in the riffles and just below.
