February 28th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 21. Wind chill values as low as -9. Blustery, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Today and tomorrow are pretty much no goes for fishing.  Cold and windy.  Temperatures stabilize on Friday with a high near 53, and Saturday in the 60s.  Weird, weird weather...
Creeks are very low and clear and fish are extremely spooky.  Water temperatures have not gotten warm enough for olives and spring stones yet, we are still seeing midges and winter stoneflies though mid day, and fish are loving streamers and leeches fished slowly below the riffles.
