March 1st Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 51. Breezy, with a south wind 8 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
Creeks are very low and clear, we are in dire need of some moisture.  Water temperatures are in the low to mid 40s area wide.
The weather this weekend looks very nice to be outside.  Don't expect too much from the fishing.  The low water and bright skies are making things very difficult out there!  That coupled with the water temperature being stuck in the 40s means things are decent, but not crazy good out there condition wise.
We are seeing some midges and winter stones still, but what we are waiting for is the water temperature to hit about 50 and trigger spring stoneflies and olives (as well as scuds!).
