April 1st Fishing Report

A slight chance of rain before 4pm, then snow likely, possibly mixed with rain. Increasing clouds, with a high near 44. Breezy, with a southeast wind 9 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Nothing major to report fishing wise.  Creeks remain clear to stained with good spring water temperatures.  A little chillier than the past week, but still solid.
Olives and spring stoneflies are making appearances, seemingly randomly...  Subsurface fishing is the ticket.  Scuds, leeches, flashy nymphs and caddis larvae are all doing well right now.
