April 10th Fishing Report
Isolated showers. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. Southeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.Creeks are clear and low, with temperatures in the high 40s area wide.
The cloud cover today will help the already strong olive hatch. While the mayflies are not present everywhere and all the time, we are seeing rising fish and hatching bugs mostly in the later afternoons pretty consistently. If olive colored bugs aren't working, try purple!
Subsurface fishing will also pick up with the cloud cover this morning. Scuds, mini leeches, and caddis larvae are all solid right now.
The caddis hatch is not here yet, but with the warmer weekend approaching, we may start to see a few appear here and there.
