April 17th Fishing Report

Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a south wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
A small rain storm is (hopefully) blowing into the area tonight.  We really need the rain as creeks are very low.  Cloud cover and wind will increase as the day goes on.
It is supposed to rain a bit tonight, then start to clear out tomorrow leaving a calm and sunny weekend.
We are still seeing blue winged olive mayflies and black caddis in the afternoons.  The water temperature is chilly in the early mornings, then climbing to 50 degrees in the afternoon.  Most of the hatch activity is when the water temperature is close to 50 degrees.
