May 14th Fishing Report

A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 80. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph.
Creeks are still very low and clear and the fish are incredibly spooky!  Temperatures are still solid, despite some unseasonably warm weather.  Air temps get back on track for the weekend.
Caddis are the main menu item with aggressively rising fish mid day and into the afternoon.  We are also starting to do well on craneflies (especially the yellows)
Subsurface fishing is best on smaller, thin bodied bugs in the riffles, then large scuds or small leeches in the runs and pools when the sun is off the water.
