May 16th Fishing Report
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 76. Breezy, with a southwest wind 14 to 19 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph.The storm yesterday missed our area overall with only a small pocket or two that got any perceptible rain. Overall creeks remain super clear and still quite low. (See photo below. La Crosse is in the upper left, Madison in the lower right)
The wind will be a pain until Sunday. Spooky fish and gusty winds, it will be a difficult two days ahead.
Sunday looks fantastic and the weather just about perfect for the first few days of next week.
