May 22nd Fishing Report

A chance of sprinkles before 7am. Partly sunny, with a high near 60. Light north wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.
Trout are very happy in our area!  Caddis are hatching again, along with midges and we have started to see some lighter colored mayflies in the late afternoon and evenings.  Along with that, beetles and ants on the surface are picking up fish!
Subsurface fishing has been solid on frenchie style flies, perdigons, and anything flashy.  As the sun comes out from behind the clouds, trout prefer the thinner bodied bugs rather than the scuds and pink squirrels we have been fishing the past few days.
