May 28th Fishing Report
Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. High near 63. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.Creeks are low and clear with temperatures in the high 50s. Incredible conditions again today to chase trout!
With the cloud cover, fish have been much happier out there and the reports from yesterday were fantastic. Fishing a larger beetle or hippie stomper with a thick bodied bead head or scud below was catching fish all day long! When there was insect activity, swinging soft hackles or micro leeches, then switching to a purple parachute and twitching it was the ticket. This should all remain the same today.
