June 9th Fishing Report

Showers likely before 11am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11am and 4pm, then a chance of showers after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. West wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
What a weekend!  After a ton of fun at the Drive In show on Friday, and cloud cover and drizzle on and off, the fishing was solid all weekend long.
With some cloud cover and continued cooler weather the next few days, trout will be very happy.
Sulphurs and caddis are the main menu items right now.  We're fishing a caddis with an emerger behind it all day long, switching to some lighter body colored mayflies in the evenings.
Subsurface fishing has been great on pretty much everything again thanks to the lack of bright sun.
