June 19th Fishing Report

Creeks are warming up.  Water temperatures are now at the point where we ask you please use a thermometer.  Anything over 65 degrees will be slow fishing and much higher than that can be lethal to trout.

We are due for a heat wave this weekend with heat index temperatures in the low 100s.  This isn't going to be good for you or for fish.  If you are around this weekend, please limit your fishing to the first 4-5 hours of the day.

Creeks are low and clear, with temperatures in the low to mid 60s.  Only a few smaller creeks are in the high 50s.

Beetles with droppers in the mornings, and if water temperature allows, matching the lighter colored mayfly hatches in the evenings.
