June 25th Fishing Report
Showers and thunderstorms likely before 2pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 2pm and 4pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 77. Light east wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Tonight 1-2 inches forecasted.Fishing was quite good yesterday on the stained to cloudy creeks! With the flush of food, and the increased security for trout (cloudy sky, cloudy water) trout were in an excellent mood. There were still some muddy and unfishable creeks, but they have dropped and cleared for today. Expect the solid fishing to continued this morning.
BUT.... We are supposed to get some rains tonight again. While much needed for the overall health of the fishery, they have the potential to muddy things up. We are also forecasted for another 1-2 inches Thursday night too.
Bottom line. If you are already here, go fish! The conditions are excellent right now to catch some happy summer fish. If you have to travel, you may want to hold off until we see what the rainfall actually does to the creeks.
