June 26th Fishing Report
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. South wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible. We were hopefully as the rains held off a bit more than we anticipated South of town, but we are going to get more today. While there will be a small percentage of water that is fishable today, it looks like a bust overall until tomorrow or Saturday.
THE SILVER LINING: We really needed this rain. To have some water finally soak in and have at least some of that water get into the groundwater to recharge the springs is incredible news for what was setting up to be another dry summer. While we are not out of the weeds yet in terms of low water, this is a great step forward.
