June 28th Fishing Report
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Light southeast wind becoming south 6 to 11 mph in the morning.Creeks are clearing up nicely, We have quite a few creeks that are clear, lots that still have a bit of a stain, and only a couple that are murky/muddy still.
. The sun today will not do us any favors. Fish early, fish late, and chase the shade for happier fish. Thanks to the recent rains, water temps are good on most of our creeks. It is still a good idea to use your thermometer as once the water temps start rising, it can cause fish to slow down their feeding.
. Most of the action is in the riffles and seams right below the riffles. Fishing an attractor terrestrial with a bead head below is effective all day long. Trout will come up to dries early in the morning and the evening when the sun is off the water.
