March 13th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 41. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Windy today, but the sun is shining early and fish are already awake.
Olives are hatching fairly well.  It isn't a crazy blanket hatch, but fish will be looking up for the mid day and into the afternoon (midges too!)
Subsurface fishing early is great, heavy bead heads like the surrender jig and spanish bullet are our favorites right now.
After the hatch subsides, fish are chasing leeches and streamers.  You can move them pretty quickly now too that water temperatures are over 40.
