January 21st Fishing Report

Scattered snow showers, mainly after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 34. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Sun early will get things rolling this morning.  Look for fishing to remain solid (winter solid that is!) until about 3.  While it will be very windy out there and it might make dry fly fishing near impossible, nymphing and throwing leeches will be good.
Through the next few days we get very cold weather and snow with high temperatures not quite reaching 30 degrees at best.  You can still have some decent fishing if it is sunny and cold, but it probably isn't worth the drive unless you just need to get out of the house and enjoy winter in the Driftless!
Creeks are low and clear with temperatures in the mid 30s.
