February 1st Fishing Report
A chance of flurries before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 30. Northwest wind 9 to 11 mph.Creeks are low and very clear. Water temperatures are in the mid to high 30's.
What we really need is some sunny days to get things moving (we get that on Tuesday and Thursday!). Fishing today will be ok, but the next couple of sunny days should make things much better. There are a handful of fish rising to midges and winter stoneflies, and trout are being caught on leeches and smaller streamers as long as they are swimming very slowly.
Remember the key is to fish rising water temperatures. This is usually between the hours of 10 and 2.
