March 1st Fishing Report

Creeks are clear and flowing well.  The warmer weather has melted quite a bit of the bankside snow.  As of now, there is nothing muddied up.  The snowmelt still cools water down so make sure you are out there when the water is warming (roughly 10 to 2).

We have midges and winter stoneflies hatching/emerging and we have even seen some blue winged olives around.

Most of the action is still subsurface on thin bodied bugs and leeches.  Scuds are really picking up fish right now too!
