March 6th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 44. Light and variable wind.
So far we have been fortunate in that the melting has been a trickle and our creeks are still running clear.  Snowmelt is hitting earlier each day and while not enough to muddy things up yet, it is cooling the water down and slowing fishing day just after mid day right now.
The majority of our snow is on the north facing slopes and shaded areas.  As we hit 50 plus degrees the next few days (without re-freezing at night), we will see some significant melting and probably muddy water.  This will not last long at all, just be careful over the next few days as conditions will change rapidly.
