April 9th Fishing Report

Showers likely, mainly before 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 56. Southeast wind 6 to 9 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
 Creeks are clear and still a bit low.  We did not receive any heavy rains and the ground is dry enough that the drizzle yesterday was soaked up right away.  Creeks are clear to very slightly tea stained with temperatures in the low 50s.
 Caddis, Olives, spring stoneflies, craneflies, midges....  There is a lot of food that trout are feeding on on the surface.  Fish were rising early yesterday, 
Subsurface has been excellent on euro squirrels, scud muffins, and purple drank.
