April 13th Fishing Report

A slight chance of showers before 9am, then a chance of showers after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 45. West wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
The cloud cover continues!  It has really made fishing much better as our low and clear creeks have fish spooky when the sun is shining.
Water temps are in the low 50s.  Fishing is really available throughout the entire day at this point, but trending better in the later part of the day when bugs are hatching.  We are seeing olives, caddis, and craneflies hatching as well as some midges and spring stoneflies.
Our go to early is  an attractor foam pattern with a dropper in the morning (training wheel and surrender) then switching to dries when the fish are rising.
Leeches and streamers have been great lately with the fish more comfortable chasing a bigger bug when the clouds are overhead.
