May 17th Fishing Report

Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Light east wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
 Today is another sunny day with super clear water.  Fishing can be difficult mid day as the fish are spooky!  Clouds and rain are coming this week which should get the fish in  a much better mood.
 Caddis are the main hatch along with some craneflies and mayflies.  On the surface, terrestrials are starting to work very well too.  Subsurface fishing has been quite good on thicker bodied bugs with a collar.  Purple Drank, Jiggy brush hog, She Ra...
