June 9th Fishing Report

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. East wind 3 to 8 mph.
It is really hot out there.  On top of our already low water, this heat has not done any favors to trout fishing.  Water temperatures are climbing into the mid 60s later in the day.  Please use a thermometer as anything over 65 degrees can stress trout.
Finding shade is key right now.  That means fishing early and late (avoiding the mid day sun) and finding any creeks that are shaded by trees or bluffs.  It just isn't great out there right now and uncomfortable for both anglers and trout!
