June 10th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 92. Heat index values as high as 96. Light south wind.

Too hot to fish today, better off staying in the shade and staying cool.
Creeks are starting to warm up rapidly, make sure to use your thermometer!!!  Anything over 65 degrees and you should consider going elsewhere.  We have a handful of creeks that are too warm to fish, and a handful of creeks that are still cool.  We're stuck in the dog days of summer weather pattern and are forecasted to continue to see hot and sunny days with nighttime temperatures failing to cool things off.
While there is fishable water out there, you might want to reconsider a trip to our area until things cool off a bit.
If you are here and fishing, please remember to watch water temperatures.  Your best bet for fishing is the first four hours of the day, and on smaller creeks, the last 4 hours of the day.
