August 11th Fishing Report

Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 3pm and 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. West wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Not much has changed fishing wise.  The Timber Coulee and West Fork and other creeks north of Viroqua are still a mess.  There are still bridges out or compromised.  Best to stay away and let crews clean the mess up and let the creeks settle down.
South of Viroqua has been fishing well!  A few tricos in the mornings, although the humid weather has the spinner fall a bit off.  Mid day through the evenings it has been terrestrials with a bead head tied below, or smaller ants and beetles fished underneath overhanging vegetation.
Creeks (outside of the flood waters up north) are clear and flowing with temps in the high 50s to low 60s.
Weather wise, we are looking at some VERY pleasant temperatures coming up starting on Friday!!
