September 22nd Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 63. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
What an excellent start for the fall.  The weather is very trout friendly with highs in the 60s all week long and lows in the low to mid 40s.  Bring an extra layer this week for the chilly mornings!
Fish are responding very well to these temperatures.  Things are taking a bit of time in the morning to get moving which means we are nymphing early, hopper dropper mid day through the evening, and we are starting to see the beginnings of the fall olive hatch in the later afternoon.
Creeks are clear to slightly stained after the rains a couple of days ago.  Everything is in very good shape fishing wise.
