October 4th Fishing Report

Scattered sprinkles between 10am and 11am. Cloudy, with a high near 69. North wind 5 to 8 mph.
Creeks are clear to slightly stained with temperatures right around 60.
Perfect trout fishing conditions forecasted pretty much every day this week.  If it is drizzly and cloudy things are good in the Driftless!
Conditions are right to see our afternoon olive hatch that gets fish rising.  They have appeared in the later afternoon the past couple of days.
Otherwise, we are still fishing attractor dries with bead heads below, or stripping leeches and streamers below the riffles.  Remember season closes the middle of this month, so get out there and fish!
