October 6th Fishing ReportMostly cloudy, with a high near 73. East wind 5 to 9 mph.
Cloudy today, chance of some rain the next couple of days.
Wisconsin season closes after the 15th! Only a few more days to get out and trout fish in the Driftless!
Creeks are clear and a bit low with decent temperatures right around 60 degrees. Fish are happily eating subsurface on scuds, pink squirrels, and leeches first thing in the morning. Fishing a terrestrial near mid day when things warm up a bit on the banks is also quite good. Later in the afternoon/evening we are seeing some fish rising to midges and small olive mayflies.
