January 11th Fishing Update
Mostly sunny, with a high near 29. Wind chill values as low as -17. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.After a chilly week last week there are more angler friendly temperatures ahead. Nothing to get too excited or drive a long distance for yet unless you really need to get out of the house.
A small snow system is moving into the area today, but the forecast is not calling for any major snows between now and the weekend.
Midges are hatching mid day, and trout are also eating nymphs rolled along the bottom as well as leeches dead drifted over the lips of pools.
