February 25th Fishing Report
Partly sunny, with a high near 22. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon.A bit of new and MUCH needed snow yesterday. There is little left on the banks right now.
Today is pretty chilly again, while tomorrow temperatures reach into the low 30s, with the next week looking very solid weather wise.
Shop is open Saturday from 9-2 and starts 7 days a week March 1st!
Midges and winter stoneflies are around daily now and with the temperature increase things should finally start to get active. Remember your thermometer! You want to be fishing a rising water temperature. Once snowmelt starts trickling into the system or it cools off naturally, fishing all but shuts down in the winter.
