March 12th Fishing Report

Sunny, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as -7. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
It's ugly out there again today.  The fish will be active with then bright sun warming the water, but the air temperature will be downright uncomfortable and will instantly freeze you, your fly rod, and the poor fish if you take them out of the water.  Better to pass on today and focus heavily starting early next week.
Next week we have temperatures in the 40s to 50s!  This should be a kick start to spring conditions.
