March 25th Fishing Report

Scattered rain showers before noon, then rain and snow showers likely between noon and 4pm, then snow showers likely after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Breezy, with a northwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Creeks are clear to slightly stained.  The precipitation the past few days did not muddy our creeks up.  While some lower sections have a medium to heavy stain, the middle portions and headwaters are clear and the fishing is good!
We're seeing olives on most of our creeks mid day along with a few midges that are getting fish to rise.  Our guides have already reported success on foam patterns like the hippie stomper and chubby chernobyl too (using them as indicators with a nymph or emerger below has been highly successful)
Subsurface fishing has been good on scuds, flashy nymphs, and leeches.
