May 23rd Fishing Report

Increasing clouds, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
Creeks are clear to slightly stained.  The rains of the past few days missed us completely and we still have some lower, clearer water than normal out there.  Luckily, temperatures have been very trout friendly and the creeks are running in the mid 50s to 60 area wide.
We are still seeing caddis, both black and tan, and have started to see craneflies.  When fish are not feeding visibly on the surface; beetles, ants and hippie stompers are working especially with a dropper tied below them.
